Hungry Dragon Reducing Food Waste In Bangor

Hungry Dragon is a student led project that focuses on reducing commercial food waste, by making delicious jams, sauces and chutneys using fruit and vegetables that would otherwise be thrown away, simply because they don’t look pretty anymore. Our goal is to make the world a better place one jar at a time.

Hungry Dragon was voted the Most Innovative Project at the Bangor University Christmas Market 2018.

My contribution to the team has been to work as a consumer psychology consultant. I researched pro-environmental attitudes & behaviours and turned them into actionable insight, which was used to inform the design of our products as well as promotional material and sales strategies.
